It’s out with the Dog and in with the Pig! Oink oink!
How are you managing all of the high water energy? I don’t know about you, but I’ve been experiencing an emotional roller coaster! In the month ahead, the water energy continues. Switching from Yang (ocean) energy, to Yin (raindrop) energy. If you found yourself feeling like you were drowning in your emotions during the month of October, you might find the emotional energy to be a little more manageable in November.
The Pig, also known as the Finisher, is the last animal in the Chinese Zodiac. Even though we celebrate the end of the year at the end of December, November is a great time to finish up some projects and prepare for family gatherings and parties. The Pig is an animal that has strong family ties and enjoys the creature comforts of life! This month brings opportunities to connect with people you love most. Beware of the tendencies toward tunnel vision and laziness. Remember this is the last surge to finish projects for the year! Take advantage of this energy! Rabbits and Goats will really feel a sense of home and emotional connection to get the holiday season off to a good start! The Snake is a natural Fire animal, so Snakes beware of the extra water this month! You may feel like your fire is lower than usual! It’s ok to relax and rest this month.
We start November out with the intense and watery sign of Scorpio taking center stage! The Sun, Mars, and Mercury all are transiting the sign of the psychic!
The Sun in Scorpio shines the spotlight on deep emotional issues coming to the surface. Use this energy to connect to your intuition and listen to it carefully.
Mercury in Scorpio brings abrupt communication. You have the opportunity to use powerful traits such as research and investigation. Be careful to not get stuck on your own opinion and remember that one sting from the Scorpion can be deadly. On the 10th, Mercury makes its way into the fiery sign of Sagittarius! This will be a lighter energy than Scorpio, however, think before you speak! Mercury in Sag laughs at funerals and says the wrong thing at the wrong time! I call it “foot in mouth” syndrome! It’s ok to censor unkind words AND connect to your sense of humor to lighten up!
Mars is in Dignity (at home) in Scorpio. Mars is feeling its power this month! Use this energy in conjunction with the Pig to finish out the year strong! We can expect explosive events happening this month on the world stage. There is so much friction in the world now, which doesn’t show any sign of slowing down. So take care of your relationships and don’t get stuck on petty jealousy, or minor conflicts. We need to come together now more than ever! Mars moves into Sagittarius on the 24th to bring a desire for freedom from things in life holding us back from our true potential!
Venus has been making its way though the sign of the healer, Virgo. She feels the most uncomfortable here, because she gets caught up in unnecessary details. You can turn that energy into productivity by focussing on the tasks at hand and not holding yourself and others to unreasonable standards. Venus enters her home sign Libra on the 8th. Since Venus is the Ruler of Libra, she feels all of the attributes that make her so powerful. Peace, love, harmony and balance. This will bring people together for the later part of the month.
Jupiter in Taurus, is still retrograde until the beginning of 2024. As a reminder, retrograde energy asks us to use the prefix RE. Retreat, rethink, reestablish, etc. The themes that we as a collective are revisiting are all things regarding your self worth and money mindset. This is a good time to strategize for 2024, especially for business owners!
Saturn in Pisces is retrograde until the 5th. We have been in a cycle returning to our spiritual connection and practices. If you didn’t have the chance to reconnect to your spiritual path, take some time the first few days of the month to do so. With the planet of restriction moving forward, you will feel things starting to get moving in terms of responsibilities.
Uranus, the Planet of the unexpected change, is retrograde in Taurus until January of 2024. This energy has been rocking the collective since 2018, getting us to think about new options when it comes to how we make money and attract abundance. The days of working at a steady job with a pension plan are rapidly disintegrating. Now is the time to connect with doing things out of the ordinary and thinking “outside the box” when it comes to ways of bringing in income.
Neptune continues its journey retrograde through its home sign of Pisces. Neptune loves to be at home in this sign. I have found that Neptune (the planet of illusion and illumination) already has an unconscious effect on the collective. We don’t notice this retrograde cycle as strongly as the other planets, because of its nature. While Neptune is here, take this time to practice intuitive exercise and trusting your intuition.
Pluto, the Planet of Death and Rebirth, is still in Capricorn. Last month it came out of retrograde. As a result of this, we might feel the last couple months of this year and the first few months of next year move quickly. Pluto will be doing a dance between Capricorn and Aquarius until it moves into Aquarius for good this time next year. It will be interesting to see what effects this has on the world until then. Capricorn is the sign of business, industry and government. Pluto is the Planet of Death and Rebirth. As it makes its last pass through Capricorn, we will see a major dismantling in the world of power, government, and big business. Pluto will move into the Sign Aquarius in November of 2024 and stay there until 2044.
